 The Gettin' Higher Choir with Special Guest Bruce Cockburn and musicians from The Caia District of Mozambique present "Voices Rising" an online benefit concert for The Caia Connection. This season's uplifting songs come from South Africa, from classic rock, and current song writers including local Chis Fry of The Bills. The 23rd annual concert for Mozambique will feature live and recorded performances by our guests, and Gettin' Higher videos of songs celebrating our vital bonds to one another, near and far, and to the earth we share.

Who We Are

 The Caia Connection is a grassroots organization based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, which fundraises to support educational opportunities for youth and supports the work of the Kuwangisana organization in rural Mozambique.

Kuwangisana is a well established non-profit/ non-governmental holistic community organization that provides programs to support and empower local people in rural areas of Sofala Province of Mozambique in attaining education and heath services.

Kuwangisana operates in the Caia District communities of Sena, Kapasseni, Caia, and Chemba, as well as many rural villages.
