The concerts are Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 7:30 pm at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall, 907 Pandora in Victoria. Tickets are $25 ($20 seniors/students) available at Munro’s Books, Ivy’s Book Shop, James Bay Coffee & Books, Dig This (Broadmead), and from choir members. Who We Are
The Caia Connection is a grassroots organization based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, which fundraises to support the work of the Kuwangisana organization in Mozambique. Kuwangisana provides home-based care for people with HIV/AIDS, support for orphans and vulnerable children, and programs for education and prevention.
Kuwangisana operates in the Caia District communities of Sena, Kapasseni, Caia, and Chemba, as well as many rural villages. The former Raio de Esperanca project in Caia now operates as Kuwangisana Caia.
