The Song Will Never End

Annual Benefit Concert for Mozambique, June 15 &16, Alix Goolden Hall

The Gettin’ Higher Choir presents a special tribute honouring Denis Donnelly and his lifelong commitment to music as a songwriter, musician, arranger, choir leader, composer, and for his directorship of the Victoria Conservatory of Music. The concert also acknowledges the choir’s founder, Siobhan Robinsong, as she and Denis pass the reins to new GHC directors Cathy Baker and Dick Jackson. Siobhan’s passionate commitment to the belief that every person has a right to sing has nurtured this choir to grow into the wonderful community it is today. The choir is thrilled Ann Mortifee will be a guest. Join us for this special concert and opportunity to recognise Denis and Siobhan. Tickets are $25 ($20 for students & seniors), available from Munro’s Books, Ivy’s Book Shop in Oak Bay, James Bay Coffee & Books, Dig This (Broadmead), choir members, and online: www.ticketfly.com/event/1703453-song-will-never-end-evening-victoria
