Gettin'Higher Choir 20th Anniversary Concerts

The Gettin' Higher Choir Presents the Twentieth Anniversary Benefit Concerts for Mozambique with Special Guest Ann Mortifee, and Ed Henderson (guitar), Bill Sample (piano), Finn Manniche (cello), and Lanny Pollet (flute).

The concerts are Friday, June 10 & Saturday, June 11 at 7:30 pm at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall, 907 Pandora Avenue in Victoria.Tickets are $30 ($25 students & seniors) and are available at Munro’s Books downtown, Ivy’s Book Shop in Oak Bay, James Bay Coffee & Books, Dig This (Broadmead), and on-line at:


Who We Are

The Caia Connection is a grassroots organization based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, which fundraises to support educational opportunities for youth and supports the work of the Kuwangisana organization in rural Mozambique.

Kuwangisana is a well established non-profit/ non-governmental holistic community organization that provides programs to support and empower local people in rural areas of Sofala Province of Mozambique in attaining education and heath services.

Kuwangisana operates in the Caia District communities of Sena, Kapasseni, Caia, and Chemba, as well as many rural villages.
